DraftKings had transformed the sports entertainment landscape. Everyone knew and loved their products, but nobody knew who they were. They needed an employer brand that would position them as the employer of choice in competitive tech markets.
The approach
Our team kicked things off with heaps of interviews, workshops, global surveys and extensive competitor analysis. In total, we heard over 3,000 voices.
The research revealed a workplace where passion and entrepreneurial spirit reign supreme. So we captured DraftKings’ essence with a powerful rallying cry: Own What’s Next.
The brand needed visuals as dynamic as the messaging, and we brought our A-game. The striking design featured DraftKings’ signature orange and green, while employee photography showcased real people and bold layouts commanded attention.
The results
The research revealed a workplace where passion, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit reign supreme. The employer brand launched in April 2023, with a refreshed careers site following in October. We were chuffed with the results:

- 311% increase in engagement time (people weren’t just visiting—they were staying)
- 38% jump in organic search traffic
- 135% rise in applications per open requisition
- 43% increase in job page views
- 14% increase in LinkedIn profile impressions
- 24% growth in LinkedIn engagement
